Planibel G and Comfort E2
PLANIBEL G and COMFORT E2 are both pyrolytic, low emissivity glass.
The Low-E coating is applied on a sheet of clear float glass by a pyrolytic process called CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) process.

In winter, the aim of the coating is to reflect the heat back into the building to prevent heat loss and keep the climate indoors at an even temperature.
In summer, the coating will reduce the amount of re-radiated heat entering the building thereby keeping indoor temperatures cooler. The end result is total heat gain is reduced.

Planibel G fasT
Special version of PLANIBEL G

PLANIBEL G FasT is a special version of PLANIBEL G that has been specially engineered so it can be toughened like ordinary float glass. Generally Low-e glass cannot be toughened but Planibel G Fast is different to normal low-e glass. This is why it is special. It can be toughened which is important for Australian conditions.

Prized for its Ease of processing, PLANIBEL G fasT offers 4 unique advantages:
• Toughenable with all types of tempering furnace since no special convection system is needed
• Improved scratch resistance of the coating
• Cheaper toughening costs (shorter cycle time = improved capacity)
• Faster toughening process (compared with other Low-E glass)

Low-emissivity single glazing

  • High performance: low-emissivity
  • Full range: hard-coated (using a pyrolitic process) or soft-coated (using a magnetron process) glasses
  • Environmental impact: the low-emissivity coatings on the Planibel LOW-E single glazing lead to significantly lower energy consumption and CO² emissions
  • Multiple applications: buildings, household appliances, horticultural industry, etc.

Application: single glazing – insulating glazing – safety/security glazing

Planibel G glass has a range of applications from monolithic glass through to facades and double glazed units
